A wonderful little ceremony was held Saturday November 23, for the unveiling of a plaque at The Hunua Triangle (corner of Hunua Road and Heald Road). This acknowledges the contribution made by many in our community in relation to the Triangle.
Originally the brainchild of Jane Berney many years ago, it is now an attractive space that welcomes people to the valley.
Special thanks to Roy Williams for a moving Karakia to kick off the proceedings and to Tina Bogaard for her beautiful korowai gifted to Jane from our HAPVRA team.
The journey to the finished state you see today was not easy and is thanks to the help of many many people. Thousands of bulbs across thousands of hours, with thanks to the help of generous locals.
