November News from HAPVRA

It’s been a hard month for HAPVRA, with two of our members losing loved ones close to them. But despite the challenges, we’ve managed to roll our sleeves up and continue the good work that benefits the wider community. A timely reminder how precious life is and to embrace our community.

Hunua Triangle Celebration

Celebrations to commemorate the Hunua Triangle were held November 23rd, the outgoing HAPVRA co-chair, Jane Berney has been a driving force behind this project alongside many many dedicated others in the community. There have been hours poured into this little triangle of land in Hunua, and it’s quite the spot to admire now. Joined by Franklin Local Board and the HAPVRA committee – and to our new “friends of the committee” Mary and Jane – it’s not goodbye, but see you soon.
